Roast Turkey with Bacon

Roast Turkey with Bacon

Preparation process

Salt the turkey inside and outside and let it rest for a few hours.

Place the turkey in a baking dish and coat it with slices of bacon. Heat the lard in a saucepan and pour it over the turkey. Roast in the oven at 180°C for up to 2 hours. During roasting, pour the stock occasionally
over the turkey to keep it moist. Once the turkey is done, pour the excess lard into a saucepan and
add some boiled water. Pour this juice over the sliced meat as desired when serving.
